How to: Self Inspect Your Inflatable Lifejacket

An inspection of your inflatable lifejacket must be carried out every 12 months from the date you purchase your jacket. The annual inspection is best carried out by a Burke accredited service agent which you can find here on our stores page

As an alternative for recreational use a self-service can be performed. Our easy to follow, step by step guide for self-inspection can be downloaded by clicking the icon below.

You should also check with your local Maritime Authority and / or sailing club for current requirements.
