An inspection of your inflatable lifejacket must be carried out every 12 months from the date you purchase your lifejacket. The annual inspection is best carried out by a Burke accredited service agent which you can find on our stores page.

For lifejackets used for recreational activities, you have the option to perform a self-service. Our easy to follow, step by step guide for self-inspection can be downloaded by clicking the image below.

You should also check with your local Maritime Authority and / or sailing club for additional information on current requirements.
