Shipping policy

Delivery Charges

All orders received will be dispatched as soon as possible and usually by the next business day, within 24 hours, or the following Monday where orders are placed on the weekend, excluding public holidays.

Australian Orders:

For orders less than $130 we charge a flat rate of $14.95 for postage and handling.

Orders over $130 receive free shipping, excluding any orders that contain bulky items which are charged a bulky item shipping fee.

International Orders:

Shipping charges for international orders are based on package weight.

Please contact shop@burkemarine.com.au for a quote for freight to your nominated delivery location if your order it is not covered by the aforementioned rates.

Delivery Times

Standard Delivery: Most standard delivery customers receive their order within 3 business days, but you should allow up to 5-7 business days for your goods to arrive.

All delivery times are indicative only, and while we will always do everything we can to get your order to you as quickly as possible, we will contact you straight away in the rare case of a delay.

Order Delays

Please make sure your details are accurate to ensure a speedy delivery. If you have made a mistake on your order, please contact our Head Office on 02 8188 3420 or email shop@burkemarine.com.au, and we’ll fix this up for you.

Occasionally if a particular product is in high demand we will need to re-order it from our suppliers. If your order is delayed for any reason a Burke Marine online representative will contact you immediately to advise of the delay.

In rare cases an order may be delayed due to our Fraud Protection Process. We will endeavour to notify you immediately if your order is being investigated. In most cases the delay is minimal, as we can dispatch the goods as soon as the credit card holder’s identity is verified. Our Fraud Protection Process protects our customers from fraudulent orders and transactions. You can read more about this process in our T&Cs.

Order Duties, Taxes & Other Liabilities

You are responsible for any taxes, duties or other liabilities imposed by any government agency, including without limitation, any customs duty, goods and services taxes or any value added tax imposed on any product ordered from the website.

International orders are considered complete when they have been shipped. International orders are not eligible for refunds if they are refused due to taxes, duties, or other liabilities imposed by any government agency.

United States

As a result of the recently introduced changes to the import tariff requirements set out in US Executive Order 14324, Australia Post has joined a number of international postal operators to temporarily suspend partial postal services to the United States (US) and Puerto Rico, effective immediately until further notice.

We are currently not shipping to the United states as a result.
