Register Your Lifejacket

An inspection of your inflatable lifejacket must be carried out every 12 months from the date you purchase your lifejacket.

Tell us when you purchased your lifejacket or when you last had it serviced and we'll send you a reminder for when your next service is coming up.

The annual inspection is best carried out by a Burke accredited Service Agent. For lifejackets used for recreational activities, you have the option to perform a self-service.

Every 3 years the service should be carried out by an accredited service agent.

If your lifejacket is over 10 years old it is a requirement that it is replaced.

Lifejacket requirements and regulations are subject to change and may differ depending on your jurisdiction. You should check with your local Maritime Authority and/or sailing club for additional information on current requirements.
