LIGHTWEIGHT

The Burke Canvas Sailing Hat is made for life on the water. Crafted from durable canvas, it features a wide, stiffened brim with a built-in front peak to keep its shape and stop it from flopping in the wind or rain.

Designed for all-day comfort with large ventilation eyelets, a dark underbrim to reduce glare, and an adjustable chin cord to keep it secure in gusty conditions.

HOW OUR MEASUREMENTS ARE TAKEN

ZEPHYR JACKET

Length: The jacket length measurement is taken from the back of the jacket, from the neck seam down to the bottom hem.

Half Chest: The half chest measurement is taken from the front of the jacket, armpit to armpit.

Arm: The arm length measurement is taken from the shoulder seam to the cuff. For the Zephyr jacket this seam sits around the collarbone/shoulder.

 

GLOVES

Hand Circumference: The hand circumference measurement is taken across the widest part of your hand excluding the thumb.

Excellent sun coverage! Great stiff brim!

Love, love, love my new Burke Canvas sailing hat. Im using it for fishing which provides excellent sun coverage and stays put because of the chin strap. I also really like the reasonably stiff brim around the hat plus the stiff brim at the front. It doesn't flop down in the wind. The width of the brim is perfect as it doesn't strike the back of your neck. Just perfect........thank you Burke for your thoughtful design. Vicki Curran

Found a good hat at last

Love this hat. I’ve been looking for a while for one like this for my speed boat. Wide brim, solid washable canvas. Breathable. Love the hard brim. Doesn’t blow up in a breeze. Elastic fit on head is snug not tight. Great for hot sunny North Queensland

This is the biggest size but it's still just a bit tight

This is the biggest size but it's still just a bit tight, I must have a fat head, leaves a mark on my forehead. Not too bad though have worn it all day no issue. It's a good hat, does the job. All the little features work well so it's well designed.

Secret stiffie

These well designed hats look like any other …but have a stiffened panel that’s stops the brim flopping in front of your eyes. Great on a windy afternoon. The brim is larger than others offering greater UV protection while the copper vents are wide and have no mesh to break.allowing the breeze to cool your head.. Made to last and age gracefully , like me.

Hat plastic brim

It is a good hat but not as good as same brand a few years ago. It will probably do the job but only 85 per cent as good
